Special General Meeting – January 30th at 1pm over Zoom
The Board of Directors is inviting you to a Special General Meeting on Saturday, January 30th at 1pm using the Zoom link provided at the end of this email. We are facing unprecedented circumstances with the COVID-19 Pandemic and 2020 has been a very challenging year for everyone and ECCAO is no different. Around this time of the year, we used to call for the new year Board nomination, prepare for our Annual General Meeting and get ready to kick off the activities of the new year. However, since the Pandemic started back in March, ECCAO has shifted its attention to ensure the safety and wellbeing of its members and pivoted to conduct online social gatherings instead of face to face meetings. With the continuous challenge of the Pandmeic, ECCAO Board is holding this Special General Meeting to discuss and seek members approval on the following agenda items:
1. The extension of the mandate of the current Board of Directors for one more year ending in 28 February 2022 or earlier when a new board is elected
2. The reduction of the 2021 membership fees as a measure of relief for members during this difficult time. The Board is stipulating a 50% reduction in fees.
Who should attend?
Members with good standing in 2020 (good standing members are those who paid their 2020 membership fees). If you are in doubt whether you paid your 2020 fees or not, please write to info@eccao.com.
How will the voting be conducted?
During the meeting and once the agenda item is discussed, we will launch a poll with the voting options that will enable participants to cast their votes. The poll is confidentially carried and results are launched at the end of the voting process.

The meeting will be held on Saturday, January 30th at 1pm via the below Zoom link. Please make sure to connect about 5 minutes before the start of the meeting.
