Workshop Description
This Resin wall art workshop is an intensive workshop to produce some canvas painted with epoxy resin. You will learn how to prepare for resin, what materials you need to have, and how to deal with the resin materials successfully and effectively. We will use resin pigment powder and liquids, glass beads, glitters, gold flakes, and some other tools. Each group will produce one big canvas then each participant will work on an individual small piece.
Workshop instructions
1-Attend at least 30 minutes before class starts to join us in the Opening Celebration of ECCAO Arts Academy.
2-Wear clothes that suit the nature of this activity. Disposable aprons and gloves will be provided.
3-You will have one hour of training and group work application, then a break of 10 minutes will be given before the second hour of individual work production.
4- All materials will be provided by ECCAO. Some refreshments will be served during the break (water-Tea-Coffee-cake-juice).
5- Each group will have 5 participants. Feel free to choose your group members in advance.
6- The resin needs time to dry, so make sure to bring a big box (25 cm x 25 cm) to transfer your individual resin piece home with no damage. Wait for 24 hours to dry and follow the instructions of the trainer.
7- All group resin wall arts will remain with ECCAO team to be displayed later in ECCAO’s Got Talent Exhibition that will be held in November 2024.
8- Since this is an intensive workshop, you need to focus on your work and avoid any distractions.
