Annual Iftar Ramadan – 2023

ECCAO would like to invite you and your family to our annual celebration of Iftar Ramadan potluck dinner.

Potluck Dinner and Registrations:
To help facilitate the flow of traffic while serving food, we will have two lines of food tables this year. We would like to recommend that you bring two dishes of each item so that they can be placed on the two line of tables (each) if possible.

ECCAO will provide the drinks (water, coffee, tea), dates, and the hall setup items for the Iftar.

To ensure that everyone gets to enjoy the delicious food without any waste, we created a list of the various types of dishes needed for this evening. This list will also help us organize the food more efficiently. Please take a moment to review the list in the following link (Ramadan 2023 – Sign Up Sheet) and select the dish or dishes that you will be bringing. The list is set so that when the maximum number of each item is selected, the item will be automatically removed from the list.

Notes:
– Deadline for the Registration is Apr 5, 2023
– We welcome volunteers to join this event. Those in High School, don’t forget to bring your Community Service Application to sign.
– If you have any dietary restrictions, please bring your own meal.
– If you have accessibility needs or special needs please contact us in advance for special arrangements.

Please don’t forget to bring serving utensils for your dishes, and kindly be prepared to take your dishes leftover.

Cost:
Members: Free Admission for ECCAO members who paid the membership in full
Non-members: $15/adult and $25/family
To help us and avoid delays, please bring exact amount in change or pay in advance through e-Transfer to payment@eccao.com

– 7:00-7:30 pm Registration and Seating
– 8:30-10:00 pm Kids Corner (see below)
– 7:40-8:45 pm Iftar
– 8:45-9:00 pm Welcoming Words
– 9:00-10:00 pm Group photo, Desserts, Socialization
– 10:15-10:30 pm cleaning

Note: for those who would like to perform prayers, please bring your own prayer mats.

Kids Corner:
Activities start at 8:30 pm, kids can come and go until 10:00 pm.
Kids activities: Art and Craft, Dress-up, Make Believe

Volunteers:
We welcome volunteers to join this event. Those in High School, please bring your Community Service Application to sign. Following are the areas you can volunteer in:
