Annual General Meeting 2024

We are thrilled to extend a warm invitation to all our valued members for the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for Saturday, February 24, 2024. The event will take place at the Queensview Café, located at the south end of the building, 2650 Queensview Dr Unit 170, Ottawa, ON K2B 8H6. The Cafe has been exclusively reserved for ECCAO members during this special gathering.

2. Reports of President and Directors
3. Consideration and adoption of documents tabled, Financial Statement, and Auditor’s Report
4. Selection of this year’s Advisry Committee
5. Selection of Election Committee Chairman (following year)
6. Selection of Financial Auditor (following year)
7. This year’s Board of Directors Election (7 Directors)
8. This year’s President Election

Who can attend?
All members in good standing who paid their membership in 2024 are eligible to attend and cast their vote during the meeting.

What if I cannot attend, but I would like to vote?
Members in good standing who have paid their 2024 membership fees are eligible to vote by proxy at the ECCAO Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday, February 24, 2024. To cast a proxy vote, please send an email to the Election Committee at elect@eccao.com, including a copy sent to the member who will be voting on your behalf. It is essential to submit the email 24 hours before the AGM meeting to allow for proper processing by the Election Committee. Your active participation in this process ensures a democratic representation of our membership, and we appreciate your commitment to ECCAO. If you have any questions or encounter any issues, please don’t hesitate to contact the Election Committee for assistance.

What if I don’t know whether I’m a member in a good standing or not, or if I would like to become a member?
No problem, please send an email to info@eccao.com and we will verify your membership status and advise you in case you need to reinstate your membership. If you are not currently a member but you would like to become a member, please fill out the membership form and send the payment to payment@eccao.com. On the membership form, you can choose the category that best represents your status.
