The Egyptian Canadian Cultural Association of Ottawa (ECCAO) is non-profit organization that was incorporated in 1984 by a group of 12 Egyptian-Canadian men and women who lived in the National Capital Region.
Thanksgiving Volunteering 2025
Dear ECCAO family and friends,
As Thanksgiving approaches, we have a meaningful opportunity to give back to our wider Ottawa community. ECCAO is organizing a volunteer group to serve dinner to those in need at the Ottawa Mission, and we’d love for you to join us.
If you’re available to lend a hand, whether plating meals, serving guests, or helping with cleanup, please sign-up below. We are looking for 10 volunteers, so we encourage you to sign up right away. Students will be able to receive credits for school.
Together, we can share the warmth of the season and bring comfort to our neighbours who need it most.
