ECCAO Virtual – Ramadan Hangout #2
It has been a serious competition between Kunafa & Katayef many centuries ago. Both desserts claim to be “Ramadan official dessert!”. They rely on the history of their ancestors and the reviews of their clients to defend their arguments.
Our program for the 2nd Ramadan Virtual Gathering includes sharing the recipe of how to make a delicious Kunafa as well as Fawazeer competition between two teams each represents claimant of Ramadan Official Dessert!!
For Kunafa recipe, we are delighted to have Nour Elsagan. Nour will join us live from her kitchen to share her secrets on making yummy Kunafa! For the Fawazeer, we will be divided in two teams ( kunafa team and Katayef team) and run the fawazeer competition. The scores will determine the end of this restless debate between the two desserts.
At the end, we will announce the wining team as the “Ramadan official dessert!” while enjoying watching the outcome of Noor’s Kunafa baking!
Bio: Nour ElSagan, a researcher with a PhD in Chemical engineering. In her free time, Nour likes to cook and bake particular authentic food and bakeries.
