Nile Crocodiles Team – 2025 Dragon Boat Festivals
Are you ready to hit the water, build strength, and be part of an incredible team?
We’re thrilled to invite you to join ECCAO’s Nile Crocodiles Dragon Boat Team for the 2025 racing season !
Whether you’re a seasoned paddler or looking to try something new and exciting, this is your chance to get out on the water, build camaraderie, and represent our community in one of the most spirited events of the year.
Team Composition
- 16-20 paddlers
- Mixed: require minimum 8 female paddlers
- 1 drummer
- 1 steers person
- Up to 6 spares (maximum roster of 30)
Registration Includes
- Entry into the Ottawa Dragon Boat Festivals
- Team practices with certified coaches
- Opportunity for top fundraising teams to qualify for the Charity Challenge Cup
- Access to free concert series and onsite activities
- Opportunity to compete in various community and corporate divisions
- Team site for fun and promotion
- All equipment provided (boats, paddles, PFDs)
Festival
Tim Horton’s Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival (June 21-22)
Race day is set for June 21 and 22, starting at 8:00 am.
On the first day, get ready for the adrenaline rush as we tackle three races back-to-back. If we ace those and secure a spot among the top 100, we’ll gear up for one final showdown on the second day. It’s a full-day affair packed with excitement, speed, and fierce competition!
Participation Fees (excluding team T-Shirt)
- Regular Paddler (Non-ECCAO member): $150
- Spare Paddler (Non-ECCAO member): $75
- Regular Paddler (ECCAO member): $125
- Spare Paddler (ECCAO member): $65
