Workshop Description: Discover the mesmerizing world of resin art in this hands-on class, perfect for crafters of all levels. You’ll learn the basics of working with resin, including mixing, pouring, and embedding objects to create stunning, glossy pieces. From coasters and jewelry to decorative art, this class offers endless possibilities for creativity.
Workshop instructions:
1-Please attend at least 10 minutes before the class starts for check-in.
2-Wear clothes that suit the nature of this activity. Disposable aprons and gloves will be provided.
3-We will have 15-20 minutes at the beginning to talk about the the materials used in making resin art craft pieces and the different techniques to create a beautiful resin piece.
4-You will work in groups and you will be given different project ideas with detailed instructions to start your molded piece.
5- You will have 10 minutes to decide on your design.
6-All materials will be supplied by ECCAO.
7- Each group will have 5 participants. Feel free to choose your group members in advance.
8- All group projects will remain with ECCAO team to be displayed later in ECCAO’s Got Talent Exhibition that will be held in December 2024.
9-Once finishing the group project, you can work on small individual pieces to take home (small items).
10-Refreshments are served throughout the whole session.
11- Since this is an intensive workshop, you need to focus on your work and avoid any distractions.
12- This is a non-profit activity to help art lovers unleash their potential, so enjoy this opportunity and cooperate with the whole team.
