Ramadan Iftar and Sham Elneseem

ECCAO would like to invite you and your family to the annual celebration of Iftar Ramadan, Sham Elneseem and Easter, that nicely coincide this year.

Potluck Dinner:
ECCAO will provide the drinks (water, coffee, tea), dates, and the hall setup items for the Iftar.
You will bring:

1- Families with last name start from A to M, to bring two dishes. If you are observing Lent see item #2:
a. Meat, chicken or fish
(some guests have Halal only meat diet restrictions, let’s be considerate for their diet)
b. Rice or pasta
2- Families with last name start from N to Z or if you are observing Lent, to bring two of the following dishes:
a. Cooked vegetables or Salad
b. Seyami Meal
c. Deserts or Fruits
3- Singles, to bring Bread, Juice, pop (mini-cans preferred).

Note: if you have any dietary restrictions, please bring your own meal.

Please don’t forget to bring serving utensils for your dishes, and kindly be prepared to take your dishes leftover.

Cost:
Members: Free Admission for ECCAO members who paid the membership in full
Non-members: $10/adult and $20/family

– 8:00-10:00 pm Kids Corner (see below)
– 8:00-9:00 pm Iftar
– 9:00-9:15 pm Welcoming Words
– 9:15-10:15 pm Group photo, Desserts, Socialization
– 10:15-10:30 pm cleaning

Note: for those who would like to perform prayers, please bring your own prayer mats.

Kids Corner:
Activities start at 8:00 pm, kids can come and go until 10:00 pm.
Kids activities: Art and Craft, Dress-up, Make Believe

Volunteers:
We welcome volunteers to join this event. Those in High School, please bring your Community Service Application to sign. Following are the areas you can volunteer in:

– Registration
– Kids Corner
– Setup and Takedown
– Organizing Food
