DESCRIPTION:Are you ready to hit the water, build strength, and be part of an incredible team?\nWe’re thrilled to invite you to join ECCAO’s Nile Crocodiles Dragon Boat Team for the 2025 racing season !\nWhether you’re a seasoned paddler or looking to try something new and exciting, this is your chance to get out on the water, build camaraderie, and represent our community in one of the most spirited events of the year.\nTeam Composition\n\n16-20 paddlers\nMixed: require minimum 8 female paddlers\n1 drummer\n1 steers person\n Up to 6 spares (maximum roster of 30)\n\n \nRegistration Includes\n\nEntry into the Ottawa Dragon Boat Festivals\nTeam practices with certified coaches\nOpportunity for top fundraising teams to qualify for the Charity Challenge Cup\nAccess to free concert series and onsite activities\nOpportunity to compete in various community and corporate divisions\nTeam site for fun and promotion\nAll equipment provided (boats, paddles, PFDs)\n\n \nFestival\nTim Horton’s Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival (June 21-22)\nRace day is set for June 21 and 22, starting at 8:00 am.\nOn the first day, get ready for the adrenaline rush as we tackle three races back-to-back. If we ace those and secure a spot among the top 100, we’ll gear up for one final showdown on the second day.
