DESCRIPTION:During the month of April, ECCAO is glad to organize four short urban walks in Ottawa parks and waterfronts. This is a good opportunity for light exercise and social networking.\n⇒ The first week’s walk will be from Rideau Eastern River’s side (Click here for location) to Hog’s Back Falls and back, on Sunday April 10, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM.\n⇒ The second week’s walk will be from the National War Memorial (Click here for location) to (TBD), on Sunday April 17, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM.\n⇒ The third week’s walk will be from Museum of War (Click here for location) to Sir John Parkway or Bate island and back, on Sunday April 24, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM.\n⇒ The fourth week’s walk will be from Strathcona Park (Click here for location) and loop around the Rideau River, on Sunday May 1, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM.\n \nPROGRAM:\n2:00 pm gather at the meeting location\n2:10 pm start the walk\n2:50 pm short rest at the viewpoint\n3:00 pm back at the starting point\nHOW TO BE PREPARED\n-Dress well according to the weather\n-Wear comfortable walking or hiking shoes\n-Bring water if you feel the need\nPRECAUTIONS\nWe ask everyone to respect the provincial government regulations.\nIf you feel sick, you are not to attend the event.\nFor inquiries before or during the event day, contact Feras at (613) 797-3363\n \n\n
